This is the result of the first 10 lessons of the Likeness & Facial Anatomy program I'm taking at Art Heroes Academy.
I'm trying to create a photorealistic portrait of Amicia de Rune, the main character of A Plague Tale: Requiem, developed by Asobo Studio.
I took the references from the game and the amazing work Olivier Ponsonnet did with this character who became instantly my favourite character forever and ever when I played the game. The character design, the storytelling, the gameplay, the environments, the music, the brilliant performance of Charlotte McBurney... Fly and grab your copy if you haven't yet!
The modelling started from a sphere. I used ZWrap and my texturingXYZ pack to project details and textures once the base mesh was fine for me.
I created the hair and the fur using the awesome FiberMesh Grooming Kit by Pablo Munoz.
Finally a ZBrush Render sent to Photoshop for the composition.
The idea is continue with the lessons and achieve a realistic render using Arnold. I'll create a new outfit and hairstyle for that (XGen).
